RAPID FIBRE SEPARATION

Rapid Fibre Separation

The Rapid Fibre Separation System, Rapid FSS, is designed to convert diverse scrap materials containing fiber reinforcements into valuable regrind, practically free from fibers, that can be put directly back to the production process.

Products reinforced with fibers, like hoses and plastic roofing membranes, have until now been more or less impossible to recycle and use again in the process. The reason is the fibers being so tightly bound to the plastic and that it has been difficult to separate from the plastic regrind. With the Rapid FSS, separation is in fact so effective, that regrind can be used in "closed-loop systems".

The advantages are obvious, what have been considered scrap and just causing trouble and costs, can now be turned back into new products. In a two-shift operation, the return on investment, ROI, is often as short as two months, or even less.
