JOB DESCRIPTION

Procurement Operations

  • Search for and select potential suppliers to procure raw materials, equipment, and necessary goods for the company.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contract conditions with suppliers.
  • Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery progress to ensure product quality and timely receipt.

Quality Control & Assurance

  • Inspect the quality of products and raw materials before receiving them from suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the production and quality control departments to verify that goods meet company quality requirements and technical standards.
  • Address issues related to product quality, returns, or troubleshooting with suppliers.

Inventory Monitoring & Control

  • Track the stock levels of materials, raw materials, and equipment to ensure sufficient supply for production and operations.
  • Update and report inventory status regularly, forecasting procurement needs based on production plans.
  • Ensure timely purchasing to avoid material or goods shortages.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare monthly reports on procurement status, costs, and any issues related to purchasing.
  • Store and manage contracts, invoices, delivery records, and related procurement documents.
  • Update supplier information, policies, and contract conditions.

Supplier Development

  • Research and expand the supplier network to provide multiple sourcing options and secure the best deals for the company.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, reputation, and supply capability.

Cross-Departmental Support

  • Work closely with departments (such as production, accounting, and engineering) to accurately determine material, equipment, and service requirements.
  • Provide information on procurement progress and delivery schedules to support production and business planning.

Administrative Procurement Tasks

  • Ensure all administrative procedures related to procurement, such as order confirmation, invoice verification, and supplier payment tracking, are completed accurately and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • College or university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.

Language

  • Intermediate English proficiency.

Other Requirements

  • Male/Female, aged 26-45.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in procurement.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the plastic packaging manufacturing industry.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Understanding of plastic packaging production processes, modern manufacturing technologies, and industry quality standards.
Negotiation & communication skills with suppliers and internal departments.
Ability to work independently, manage time, and solve problems efficiently.
Market analysis & evaluation skills.
Ability to work under high pressure.
