QC LINE Officer
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Quality Inspection on the Production Line
- Inspect and monitor product quality throughout the production process, from raw material input to the final product.
- Check technical specifications such as size, color, durability, thickness, finish, and other criteria.
- Ensure that manufactured products meet the company's quality standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct Quality Tests
- Use measuring tools and testing equipment (calipers, thickness gauges, durability testers, etc.) to perform quality assessments.
- Record, report, and store test results as required.
- Detect and Report Quality Issues
- Identify defects or inconsistencies such as surface imperfections, incorrect dimensions, uneven colors, and other quality issues.
- Report quality problems promptly to the QC Manager or Production Supervisor for quick resolution.
- Assist in analyzing root causes of defects and participate in quality improvement processes.
- Inspect and Monitor Incoming Raw Materials
- Check the quality of raw materials before production to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the purchasing or warehouse department to inspect and supervise raw material storage.
- Maintain and Manage Quality Records
- Accurately document inspection results in reports or quality control forms as required.
- Maintain and update quality records for inspected products, ensuring accuracy and transparency in quality control processes.
- Perform Other Assigned Tasks
- Carry out additional tasks related to product quality as assigned by the QC Manager or Production Supervisor.
- Participate in training sessions on product quality and inspection procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERTISE
- Graduate from a vocational school, college, or university in Engineering, Technology, Quality Management, or related fields.
FOREIGN LANGUAGE
- English proficiency is an advantage.
REQUIREMENTS
- Male, aged 23 - 35.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the packaging manufacturing industry.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proficient in using measuring and testing equipment for quality control.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented, careful, and able to work under high pressure while complying with quality regulations.
- Willing to work in rotating shifts (day and night shifts).
