Mô tả tóm tắt công việc/ PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To develop and to establish the sales of plant, machineries and ancillary equipment for the plastics and packaging industry in Vietnam. To ensure the competitiveness of the Lotus in the market through competency, after sales services, market oriented activities and by defining and specifying the product specifications adapting to market requirements.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- To identify and to define key customers and potential customers in order to build up the good and secure position for our products/ company in the market.
- To define and formulate a plan of action for the market
- Initiate and carry out sales and marketing projects as well as cultivate permanent contacts to customers/ markets in order to achieve and safeguard the market leadership.
- To watch the product developments of competitors and their activities as well as the changing demands of the market and to propose/ introduce counter actions (eg. to define main requirements/ preferences of the market for our products) in order to achieve and safeguard the long term leadership of our company.
- To improve the profit of the company by means of participation in customers and principals selection (strategic, key customers, future applications and requirements) and by means of realization of sales targets.
- Define and clarify customer’s requests as basis for quotations and consultation with the Manager Technology and Machinery and with suppliers for optimization of quotations.
- Final price negotiations in consultation or together with the MD. After the final negotiation, the clear definition of scope of supply has to be made and given to the suppliers.
- To manage and follow up the order processing ( L/C, customer’s requests, changes on scope of supply, delivery time, etc.)
- Leading and motivating the staff as well as proposing the training measures together with the Manager Technology and Machinery, so as to increase the impact and efficiency of our team in the market.
- To conduct monthly project reviews and needed actions (contribution to the report of the Manager Technology and Machinery). To develop and to propose, in agreement with the MD, the annual budget and to implement it.
- Defining customer requirement at minimum level and select optimized scope of supply according to the requirement.
- Analyzing our scope of supply and comparing to scope of supply of the competitors to optimize the solutions.
- Presenting our advantages about function, scope of supply, solution to quantify the value brought to customers.
ORGANISATION AND STAFF RESPONSIBILITY
Lotus Chemical Technology Ltd. is presently structured in different departments and profit centres (see organization chart attatched). The job holder is responsible for the sales activities of plastics and packaging machinery and reports directly to the Managing Director of the company.
The job holder is directly responsible to look for the staff in his Sales Department. He is expected to lead and motivate his staff and, together with the Manager Technology and Machinery, to extend their market and technological knowledge and capabilities. Questions relating to recruitment and salary of his staff are agreed by him in consultation with the MD.
FINANCE RESPONSIBILITY
The job holder is responsible to control and realize the annual budget for his department effectivelly. Through responsible and creative negotiation and handling with customers, as well as through efficient sales the job holder exercises a considerable influence on the earning capacity of the company.
TRAINING/ KNOWLEDGE/ EDUCATION/ SPECIAL FEATURES
- University graduate (plastic technology/ chemical engineering/ economic with technical background etc.)
- Knowledge of process technology and chemistry in the processing and use of plastic materials
- Hard working and ability to lead and work as a team
- Ability to think analytically, showing flexibility and capability to make rational decisions.
- Communicative and willing to travel in order to deal with customers extensively
- To indicate and utilize entrepreneurially skills.
- Written and spoken English, knowledge of German and Chinese would be an asset.
- PR work (product oriented)
- Good communication and inter-personal skill
- Resourceful, energetic and able to use initiative

The salary comprises following components:
